This just proves that printed papers with words are still stronger than ipads, kindles, amazons and blackberry.. The smell of paperback books. Nothing. Like. It.
I love to read books but I’m not a bookworm. The Hunger Games series is what the tweens and young adults alike have been gushing about. Its first book’s movie adaptation premiered last march with generally positive reviews. I haven’t even read the books or seen the first movie installment yet. Okay, this makes me a loser. haha. I’m gonna buy the first book so I can read it prior to watching the movie.
Seems like Hunger Games has taken oven Harry Potter. Noo! HP is HP! What I mean is that after Harry Potter bid adieu last year, Hunger Games stepped in. Moreover, I read online that netizens are brabbling about Twilight and Hunger Games. Which is better between these two? It’s for you to judge. But all i can say is “I’m neither a twi-hard.” :) nor I hate Twilight Saga.

It’s my 5th week at World Vision - Davao. I remember that just a few weeks ago, I was like huffing and ranting to my classmates that I was starting to get bored for there were no tasks given. Perhaps, it was just my relaxation week.
But now that my internship days are almost over, I’m just starting to feel and experience the real job of a working person or an intern, let’s say. haha. For week 5, I took photos and videos of WV DAV’s office dedication and Mindanao’s Child Health Now launching. One of the big bosses of WV Phils. got me a shirt. Thanks Kuya Chris _ the friendly and cute dad. haha. I was also assigned in the print and communications committee.
For the rest of the week I’m gonna be busy covering events, writing news and stories, editing and what else? Perhaps answering phone calls when I’m at the too quiet office with my lappy on just surfing.
A Tale of Two Sisters

I don’t get to have a photo session with my Ate (sister) that much. She’s studying far from where I am and she’s always busy. This was taken last week after her post grad med internship graduation and during my dad’s birthday. This is my first post of my second blog site and just want to say “Just posted a photo”. :D
